Media Pembelajaran Berbasis AI Chatbot pada Materi Termokimia di SMA Apakah Dibutuhkan?

Abstract

Chatbot merupakan salah satu bentuk AI yang dapat memberikan jawaban dari pertanyaan pengguna dengan kemampuan machine learning. Pada bidang pendidikan, chatbot dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang interaktif. Hal ini dapat menjadi sebuah inovasi dalam pembelajaran termokimia mengingat materi termokimia adalah materi kimia yang abstrak dan sulit dipahami sehingga berdampak pada motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa yang rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan media pembelajaran chatbot berbasis kecerdasan buatan untuk materi termokimia di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deksriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data berupa observasi langsung, penyebaran angket terhadap 20 siswa, dan wawancara terhadap guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran termokimia di SMA Modern Al Rifa’ie masih dominan menggunakan buku paket. Teknologi AI masih belum dikenal baik oleh siswa dan hanya sebagian kecil guru yang menerapkan AI dalam pembelajarannya. Adapun alasan guru tidak mengenalkan AI kepada siswa karena ragu akan validitas materinya. Fasilitas di SMA Modern Al Rifa’ie mendukung penerapan AI dalam pembelajaran.
