Abstract

This study was aimed to determine how effective SETS learning approach through concept mapping strategy on student learning outcomes in the material solubility and solubility product was. Analysis of data used parametric statistics for the average student grade in the scale of 40, including classical completeness test. The results showed the average student learning outcomes in an experimental class was 31 with a mastery of 93.37% whereas the control group gained an average of 27 with classical completeness grade of 76.92%. Affective and psychomotor learning outcomes also showed that the experimental class was better than the control class. It can be concluded that the application of SETS visionary learning through concept mapping strategy was effective to improve student learning outcomes.
