EMPATI DAN EFIKASI DIRI GURU TERKAIT KEGIATAN BELAJAR MENGAJAR BEBAS BULLYING

Abstract

Abstrak. Bullying adalah permasalahan umum yang terjadi di seluruh negara, pada lingkungan pendidikan di sekolah manapun. Bullying hadir dalam berbagai bentuk, agresi verbal, fisik sampai pada pengucilan dari kelompok. Pelaku bullying tidak hanya terbatas pada siswa, namun juga guru kepada siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian awal yang diharapkan menjadi dasar untuk menyusun metode pelatihan yang efektif dalam menciptakan Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (KBM) bebas bullying. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah ada perbedaan empati dan efikasi diri guru sekolah dasar (SD) laki-laki dan guru perempuan. Subjek penelitian adalah guru laki-laki dan perempuan yang bertugas di kabupaten Kudus. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala empati dan efikasi diri dengan teknik analisis data independent sample t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan efikasi diri antara guru laki-laki dan perempuan, dengan nilai t sebesar -0,699 df=18, (p>0,05). Pada aspek empati, terdapat perbedaan dengan nilai t sebesar 3,106 df=45,15, (p<0,01). Adanya perbedaan empati dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan metode pelatihan KBM bebas bullying khususnya pada pelatihan kemampuan empati pada guru laki-laki dan perempuan.       

 

Abstract. Bullying is a common problem that occurs throughout the country, in an educational environment in any school. Bullying comes in various forms, verbal, physical aggression to the exclusion of the group. Bullying perpetrator are not only limited to students, but also teachers. This research is a preliminary study which is expected to be the basis for formulating effective training methods in creating free bullying teaching activities. This study aims to examine whether there are differences in empathy and self efficacy of primary school teachers (SD) men and female teachers. Research subjects were male and female teachers who served in Kudus. The research instrument used empathy scale and self efficacy with independent data t test. The results showed that there was no difference of self efficacy between male and female teacher, with t value of -0,699 df = 18, (p> 0,05). In aspect empathy, there is difference with t value equal to 3,106 df = 45,15, (p <0,01). The difference of empathy can be concluded that there are different methods of training KBM-free bullying, especially on training the ability of empathy in male and female teachers.
