The rapid development of communication technology has made the process of social interaction between humans easier. However, on the other hand, it also raises new psychological problems such as problematic mobile phone use. This study aims to determine the relationship between sensation seeking and the four dimensions of problematic mobile phone use, namely dangerous use, dependence, financial problem, and prohibited use in students. The research design is crossectional research. The sampling technique was random cluster sampling in which the research subjects were 370 students. Correlation analysis in this study used the spearman range. The results showed a positive correlation between sensation seeking and the dimensions of dangerous use and prohibited use. With hypothesis testing, the correlation coefficients were 0.272 and 0.132. There is no correlation between sensation seeking and the dimensions of financial problems and dependence. With hypothesis testing, the correlation coefficients are 0.049 and 0.026. The conclusion is that sensation seeking, financial problems, and dependence on students are moderate.
