Kontribusi Guru pada Pendidikan Seksualitas Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Intervensi terhadap kasus kekerasan seksual pada anak telah menjadi perhatian utama berbagai pihak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji kaitan pemahaman guru TK dengan sikap terhadap pendidikan seksualitas, keterlibatan guru dalam pelatihan seksualitas, dan masa waktu guru bekerja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei online dengan tes pengetahuan dan kuesioner. Populasi penelitian adalah guru TK di Kota Semarang. Sampel penelitian melibatkan 136 guru TK di Kota Semarang dengan teknik pengumpulan sampel acak. Data dianalisis dengan analisis bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) ada korelasi pemahaman guru mengenai pendidikan seksual pada anak usia dini terhadap sikap yang dimiliki guru pada pelaksanaan pendidikan seksual anak usia dini (Chi Square = 27,227; p value = 0,00), (2) ada korelasi keterlibatan guru TK dalam pelatihan terhadap pemahaman guru mengenai pendidikan seksual pada anak usia dini (Chi Square = 9,583; p value = 0,002), dan (3) ada korelasi masa kerja guru terhadap pemahaman guru mengenai pendidikan seksual pada anak usia dini (Chi Square = 13,575; p value = 0,000)

Interventions in cases of sexual violence against children have become the primary concern of various parties. This study examines the relationship between the understanding of kindergarten teachers with attitudes towards sexuality education, teacher involvement in sexuality training, and the length of time the teacher works. The research uses a quantitative approach. Data was collected through online surveys with knowledge tests and questionnaires. The research population is kindergarten teachers in the city of Semarang. The research sample involved 136 kindergarten teachers in the city of Semarang with a random sample collection technique. Data were analyzed by bivariate analysis. The results showed (1) there was an effect of teachers’ understanding of sexual education in early childhood on the attitudes of teachers in the implementation of early childhood sexual education (Chi-Square = 27,227; p-value = 0.00), (2) there was an influence of teacher involvement Kindergarten in training on teachers’ understanding of sexual education in early childhood (Chi-Square = 9.583; p-value = 0.002), and (3) there is an effect of tenure [NS1] of teachers on teachers’ understanding of sexual education in early childhood (Chi-Square = 13,575; p-value = 0.000).
