Perbandingan Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses Sains dan Model Kooperatif Tipe STAD Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Konsep Siklus Hidup

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh pendekatan keterampilan proses sains terhadap hasil belajar IPA konsep siklus hidup pada siswa kelas IVa SDN 38 Bonto Perak, (2) pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap hasil belajar IPA konsep siklus hidup pada siswa kelas IVb SDN 38 Bonto Perak, dan (3) perbedaan pengaruh pendekatan keterampilan proses sains dan pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap hasil belajar IPA konsep siklus hidup pada siswa kelas IV SDN 38 Bonto Perak. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan observasi dan tes, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh pendekatan keterampilan proses sains terhadap hasil belajar IPA konsep siklus hidup pada siswa kelas IVa SDN 38 Bonto Perak Pangkep. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai p = 0,000 yang kurang dari 0,05 sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H_a diterima, (2) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap hasil belajar IPA konsep siklus hidup pada siswa kelas IVb SDN 38 Bonto Perak Pangkep. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai p = 0,000 yang kurang dari 0,05 sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H_a diterima, dan (3) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh pendekatan keterampilan proses sains dan pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap hasil belajar IPA konsep siklus hidup pada siswa kelas IV SDN 38 Bonto Perak Pangkep. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai p = 0,039 yang kurang dari 0,05 sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H_a diterima.

This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of the science process skills approach to the science learning outcomes of the life cycle concept in grade IVa students of SDN 38 Bonto Perak, (2) the effect of the STAD cooperative learning model on the science learning outcomes of the life cycle concept of grade IVb students. SDN 38 Bonto Perak, and (3) the difference in the effect of the science process skills approach and the effect of the STAD cooperative learning model on the science learning outcomes of the life cycle concept of the fourth-grade students of SDN 38 Bonto Perak. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type. The sample taken in this study used purposive sampling technique. The data in this study were collected using observation and tests, then analyzed descriptively and inferential. The results showed that: (1) There was an effect of the science process skills approach to the science learning outcomes of the life cycle concept in grade IVa students of SDN 38 Bonto Perak Pangkep. This is indicated by the value of p = 0.000 which is less than 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, (2) There is an effect of the STAD cooperative learning model on the science learning outcomes of the life cycle concept in class IVb SDN 38 Bonto Perak Pangkep. This is indicated by the value of p = 0.000 which is less than 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, and (3) There is a difference in the effect of the science process skills approach and the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model on the science learning outcomes of the life cycle concept in grade IV students. SDN 38 Bonto Perak Pangkep. This is indicated by the p value = 0.039 which is less than 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.
