Aspek Pengetahuan dan Lingkungan dengan Perilaku Isolasi Mandiri Pasien COVID-19
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Background: Based on COVID-19 data from Grobogan Regency as of October 23, 2020, it is known that 160 patients out of a total of 545 confirmed COVID-19 patients (29%) both with mild and asymptomatic symptoms are self-isolating. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and environmental aspects with self-isolation behavior of COVID-19 patients in Grobogan Regency. Methods: This type of research is analytic observational with a cross sectional design. The research subjects were COVID-19 self-isolated patients who had recovered. The independent variables are aspects of knowledge and the environment where COVID-19 patients are self-isolating. The dependent variable is the self-isolation behavior of COVID-19 patients. The research instrument was an online questionnaire. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using chi square test. Results: The majority of knowledge levels are good (47%), the majority of environmental aspects where self-isolation has met the requirements (85.5%), the level of behavior when carrying out COVID-19 self-isolation is still not good (54.2%), and there is a relationship between aspects of knowledge (p 0.001) and environment (p 0.005) with COVID-19 self-isolation behavior. Conclusion:There are relationship between knowledge and environmental aspects with self-isolation behavior of COVID-19 patients.
