Abstract
This research purpose is to study the activities and learning outcomes increase of conventional gasoline motor tune up. The research subject consists of 24 students of Class XII Bhakti Praja SMK at odd semester academic year 2009/2010. The study was conducted in two cycles with each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed an increase in activity and student learning outcomes of the cycle I to cycle II. The average value of the student activity who achieved at 72.92% of the cycle I and cycle II of 79.55%. Completeness in the classical activity on the cycle I by 75.00% while 86.36% in the cycle II. Students learning outcomes in the cycle I was performed using visual audio media VCD, it is obtained an average value of 69.79 with 75.00% classical completeness. In the second cycle, students’ learning outcomes improved with a 78.41 average. Increase in the average value is also accompanied by increased classical completeness to 86.36%. In conclusion, the use of visual audio media VCD in learning of conventional gasoline motors tune up can increase the activity and learning outcomes.
