Abstract
This research is aimed to determine the comprehension level of students on the learning system of conventional fuels which be taught by animation media. The populations of this research are 96 students originated from three Class X of Yosef Oto SMK in Cepu in which the amount of each class is different. Two classes fixed as samples are A automotive class X which plays a role as experiment group with 30 students using animation media, while 31 students from B automotive class X as control group using conventional lecture. The average of pre-test and post-test score for competency of conventional fuel cell found is different. The score of learning outcomes of pre-test and post-test of experiment group are 68,83 and 80,16, respectively, while in control group are 70, 16 and 71,29. In conclusion, Ha is accepted and inversely Ho is rejected. The t-test results prove a significant increase of 16,47% for experiment group.
