PENGGUNAAN VIDEO ANIMASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN KOMPETENSI SISTEM STARTER

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan video animasi mampu meningkatkan prestasi belajar sistem starter pada siswa kelas XII. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu true experimental dengan bentuk pretest-postest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK YPT 1 Purbalingga yang berjumlah 4 kelas. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara acak. Peneliti mengambil dua dari empat kelas yang ada. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan prestasi belajar tentang sistem starter dengan penggunaan video animasi. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh harga thitung sebesar 3,25 lebih besar jika dibandingkan ttabel sebesar 1,67 yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, maka dugaan adanya peningkatan kompetensi sistem starter setelah menggunakan video animasi teruji kebenarannya.
This study aims to determine whether the learning done by means of video animations can improve learning achievement starter system in XII grade students. The method used in this study is a type of true experimental pretest-postest control group design. The population of this study were all students in grade XII Lightweight Vehicle Engineering SMK YPT 1 Purbalingga wich consists of 4 classes. Samples were selected randomly. Researchers took two of the four existing classes. Data collection and analysis technique used the test and descriptive analysis. The results of data analysis shows that an increase in learning achievement of the starter system with use of video animation. This is shown by the price tcount = 3.25 is greater than ttable = 1.67 means that Ho refused and Ha is received, then the hypothesis wich says ”There is increasing competence starter system after using the video animation” proven truth.
