PENGGUNAAN MODEL GROUP INVESTIGATION UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR KOMPETENSI PERBAIKAN SISTEM PENERANGAN

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam skripsi ini adalah tentang Penggunaan Model Group Investigation Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kompetensi Perbaikan Sistem Penerangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa yang memanfaatkan dan tanpa memanfaatkan model pembelajaran group investigation serta efek pemanfaatan model ini terhadap hasil belajar kompetensi perbaikan sistem penerangan siswa kelas XII SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Boja. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen jenis control group pre test-post test. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII TKR SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Boja yang terbagi dalam empat kelas yaitu XIITKR1, XIITKR2, XIITKR3 dan XIITKR4. Penelitian yang dilakukan hanya dua kelas yang diambil secara acak dan didapat siswa kelas XIITKR4 sejumlah 35 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas XIITKR 2 sejumlah 32 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis data mendapatkan bahwa hasil belajar materi perbaikan system penerangan sebelum menggunakan model group investigation dan setelah menggunakan model group investigation terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya hasil belajar siswa yang tanpa menggunakan model group investigation sebesar 78% dan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model group investigation sebesar 86%, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan model group investigation terhadap hasil belajar kompetensi perbaikan sistem penerangan. Penggunaan model group investigation sebaiknya tetap dilaksanakan oleh guru di dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, karena dapat meningkatkan kreatifitas siswa sekaligus meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

The problems studied in this thesis is about the use of Model Group Investigation To Improve Learning Outcomes Competency Improvement of Information Systems. This study aims to determine the use of student learning outcomes, and without the benefit of group learning model investigation and the effects of the use of this model is the result of learning competencies lighting system repair class XII students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Boja. This study uses experimental design type test control group pre-post test. The population of this study were all students of class XII SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Boja TKR are divided into four classes, namely XIITKR1, XIITKR2, XIITKR3 and XIITKR4. Research conducted only two classes are taken at random and obtained the grade 35 students as XIITKR4 some experimental class and second grade students XIITKR number of 32 students as control classes. The results of the analysis of the data found that the material improvement of learning outcomes lighting system before using the model of group investigation and after investigation using the model group there are significant differences. This is indicated by the results of student learning without the use of a model investigation group by 78% and student learning outcomes using the model of investigation group by 86%, so it can be said that there is the effect of using group model of investigation on learning outcomes improved lighting system competence. The use of a model group should continue investigation conducted by the teacher in the learning activities, because it can enhance student creativity while improving student learning outcomes.
