Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana merancang front part mobil listrik yang amandan Bagaimana perhitungan secara mekanika dan komputer dengan menggunakan software SIEMENS NX8 yang meliputi displacement, stresses, safety factor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development yaitu metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan sebuah perancangan, dimana dalam perancangan tersebut mengetahui sebuah rancangan yang akan diuji menggunakan software engineering Siemens NX8 yang dapat membuat suatu model dalam bentuk gambar 3 dimensi. Sistem suspensi depan yang digunakan adalah suspensi double wishbone sedangkan untuk perancangan sistem kemudi hanya perancangandrag link dan pitman arm. Komponen-komponen yang diuji adalah lengan suspensi double wishbone atas dan bawah, knuckle dan tromol. Dari hasil simulasi dan analisis komponen-komponen di atas maka akan diketahui tingkat displacement, stresses, dan safety factor. Acuan utama dari hasil analisis ini adalah angka keamanan (safety factor), yaitu minimal 4 sedangkan hasil pengujian komponen-komponen tersebut sudah mendekati 4 sehingga rancangan front part ini aman untuk digunakan di dunia industri.
abstract
The purpose of this research is to find the safe way to design a front part of electric car and how to calculate in both mechanic and computerized method using SIEMENS NX8 software which includes displacement, stresses, and safety factor. Method which is used in this research is Research and Development method. This method creates a design which is used to acknowledge tested design using Siemens NX8engineeringsoftware that can make a three dimensional image. Front suspension system which is used in this research is double wish bones while design for driving system uses drag link dan pitman arm design only. Tested components include double wishbone upper and lower suspension arm, knuckle, and canister. From simulation and analysis of those components results the level of displacement, stresses,and safety factor. The main reference of this analysis is the safety value (safety factor) in minimum score of 4, while the result of the test of the components has approaching the minimum score of the value so conclusion that can be drawn is that this front partdesign is safe to be used in public industry.
