MODEL VOCATIONAL COMPETENCY TRAINING TERPADU (VCT TERPADU) DALAM RANGKA MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU PRODUKTIF SMK

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui keefektifan model Vocational Competency Training Terpadu (VCT Terpadu) Guru Produktif SMK di Kabupaten Wonosobo. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R & D) dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara wawancara, angket, observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Uji coba model pelatihan menggunakan Pre-Experimental Design dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis kuantitatif dengan deskripsi kuantitatif untuk mengetahui kualitas pelaksanaan pelatihan dan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model dengan analisis statistik non parametrik yaitu uji t (Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Tes). Hasil uji coba diperoleh peningkatan yang signifikan dari kompetensi materi pelatihan, yang terdiri dari materi memperbaiki sistem injeksi bahan bakar diesel (Tune Up), dan perbaikan sistem AC, dengan membandingkan nilai pretest dan posttes. Dari hasil analisis dengan uji t ini berarti terdapat perubahan atau peningkatan kemampuan peserta setelah diberikan pelatihan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan dengan model Vocational Competency Training Terpadu (VCT Terpadu) efektif meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru produktif SMK di Kabupaten Wonosobo.

 

The objective of this research is to know the effectiveness of Integrated Vocational Competency Training (Integrated VCT) for Vocational High School productive-teachers in Wonosobo Regency. The research method implemented Research and Development (R & D) approach by using interview, questioners, observation, documentation and some tests as the data collecting techniques. The experiment of training model used Pre-Experimental Design with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research used qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to analyze the data. Descriptive-quantitative analysis technique is to know the quality of the training and to know the effectiveness of the model by using t-test (Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test) as a non-parametrical statistical analysis. Based on the result of the experiment, it was known that there was a significant improvement of the training material competency, consisting of Diesel Fuel Injection System (Tune Up) and AC repairing System, by comparing the result of Pretest and Posttest. The t-test analysis result shows that there is a change or an improvement of the trainees’ competency after being involved in the training program, therefore, it can be concluded that the training model of integrated Vocational Competency Training (Integrated VCT) effectively improves the professional competency of Vocational High School productive-teachers in Wonosobo Regency.
