The Journal of Indonesian Legal Studies (JILS) in this second journal edition provides some contemporary issue in human rights in very various contexts. The JILS second edition highlighted some issues concerning to human rights in the frame of The Various Aspect of Human Rights in Indonesia. The articles presented in this special issue make many important explorations and draw our attention to many important policy questions. Nowadays, in Indonesia itself, we can see that human rights law has had an ever-growing impact on domestic legal system throughout the world, and thereby also on the daily work of domestic judges, prosecutors and lawyers. Some contemporary cases showed us that the problem of human rights were still relevant.
