Focus and Scope

Journal of Nonformal Education and Community Empowerment (p-ISSN 2549-1539 | e-ISSN 2579-4256) was published biannually (June and December) by the Department of Non-formal Education, Faculty of Education, State University of Semarang, Indonesia. This journal is in collaboration with the Association of Non-formal & Informal Education Academics and the Association of Academics and the Indonesian Penmas Study Program which contains research articles in the field of Non-formal Education with the scope of:

  1. Community Based Education: literacy, courses, training, life skills, community empowerment, social work;
  2. Family Based Education: parenting, early childhood education, homeschooling.
