Pengaruh Gerakan Literasi Sekolah terhadap Minat Baca dan Keterampilan Membaca Siswa SMA N 1 Purworejo

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap minat baca dan keterampilan membaca siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex post facto dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap minat baca yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai t_hitung > t_tabel (6,315>1,980);  (2) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap keterampilan membaca yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai t_hitung > t_tabel (6,3397>1,980); (3) besarnya pengaruh gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap minat baca 25,6%; (4) besarnya pengaruh gerakan literasi sekolah terhadap keterampilan membaca 26,1%.

Abstract

The research is intended to understand the influence school literacy movement toward students’ reading interest and skill. The kind of research is ex post facto by technique of collecting data using questionnare and tese. The research result shows that : (1) there is a positive and significant influence between school literacy movement  toward reading interest shown by score t_calculate > t_table (6,315>1,980);  (2) there is a positive and significant influence between school literacy movement toward reading skill shown by score t_calculate > t_table (6,3397>1,980); (3) the influence of school literacy movement toward reading interest is 25,6%; (4) the influence of school literacy movement toward reading skill is 26,1%.
