Konflik Interpersonal Tokoh Genduk dalam Novel Genduk Karya Sundari Mardjuki Kajian Psikoanalisis Sosial Karen Horney

Abstract

Konfik adalah bagian dari proses pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar manusia. Manusia adalah makhluk konfliktis, yatu makhluk yang selalu terlibat dalam perbedaan, pertentangan, dan persaingan baik sukarela maupun terpaksa.Artikel ini bertujuan mengetahui bentuk-bentuk konflik interpersonal dalam novel Genduk karya Sundari Mardjuki dan mengetahui upaya untuk mengatasi konflik interpersonal menurut Karen Horney kajian psikoanalisis sosial. Dalam artikel ini, ditemukan Genduk memiliki konflik interpersonal dengan Yung, Kaduk, dan Sapto.Konflik interpersonal juga meliputi 10 kebutuhan neurotik oleh Karen Horney.Genduk memiliki kecenderungan 4 dari 10 kebutuhan neurotik tersebut.Selain konflik interpersonal, Horney juga memberi upaya mengatasi konflik.Selain bukti konflik interpersonal dan kebutuhanneurotik dalam novel, ditemukan upaya mengatasi konflik yang dilakukan tokoh Genduk, meliputi upaya bergerak mendekati orang lain, upaya bergerak melawan orang lain, dan upaya bergerak menjauhi orang lain.

Conflict is part of the process of fulfilling basic human needs. Humans are conflicted beings, creatures that are always involved in differences, opposition, and competition both voluntarily and forced. This article aims to find out the forms of interpersonal conflicts in SundariMardjuki's novel Genduk and find out how to deal with conflict according to Karen Horney, a study of social psychoanalysis. In this article, it was found that Genduk had interpersonal conflicts with Yung, Kaduk, and Sapto. Interpersonal conflict includes 10 neurotic needs by Karen Horney. Genduk has a tendency of 4 out of 10 of these neurotic needs. In addition to dividing the forms of conflict, Horney also made efforts to overcome the conflict.In addition to the evidences of conflict in the novel, efforts were made to overcome the conflict that was carried out by the Genduk character, including efforts to move towards other people, efforts to move against other people, and efforts to move away from others.
