PENGARUH PENERAPAN METODE BRAINSTORMING TERHADAP AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI HAMA DAN PENYAKIT PADA TUMBUHAN DI SMP NEGERI 1 UNGARAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh metode brainstorming terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi hama dan penyakit pada tumbuhan di SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Experimental Design. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pola non-randomizedcontrol group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII B (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas VIII C (kelas kontrol). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor tingkat keterlaksanaan metodebrainstorming adalah 85,33 % (berdasarkan nilai artikel siswa).Tingkat keterlaksanaan metode brainstorming terhadap skor aktivitas siswa menunjukkan skor aktivitas siswa sebesar 88,90% (sangat aktif), sedangkan tingkat keterlaksanaan metode brainstorming terhadap nilai hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yaitu 8,0. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode brainstorming dapat memengaruhi aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi hama dan penyakit pada tumbuhan di SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran.

_______________________________________________________________The aim of thisstudy is to examine the effect of brainstorming methods on student activity and student learning outcomes on the matter of pests and plant diseases in Junior High School 1 Ungaran. This study was Quasi Experimental Design. The design of this study was use a pattern of non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study is all VIII grade class in SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran, while the sample in this study was VIII B (as experimental class) and VIII C (as control class). The results showed that score of adherence level brainstorming method is 85.33 % (based on student’s article value). The adherencelevel of brainstorming methods on student activity score indicates a scoresabout 88.90 % (very active), whereas the adherencelevel on brainstorming methods onstudent learning outcomes shows the average of student learning outcomes about 8.0. Based on this results,it concluded that the brainstorming method can affect to the student activity and student learning outcomes on the matter of pests and diseases in plants in Junior High School 1 Ungaran.
