Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi kemampuan guru matematika dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru matematika tingkat SMP/MTs di Kota Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pengetahuan konsep Kurikulum 2013 subjek penelitian belum memadai, temuan ini berupa kurangnya pengetahuan subjek penelitian tentang landasan filosofis Kurikulum 2013 dan kurangnya pemahaman penerapan pendekatan saintifik; (2) perencanaan pembelajaran (RPP) yang disusun subjek penelitian sebagian belum secara utuh menggambarkan Kurikulum 2013, temuan terkait RPP berupa pembuatan indikator dan konsep materi ajar belum sesuai Kompetensi Dasar, pelaksanaan pembelajaran oleh subjek penelitian sebagian belum secara utuh menggambarkan pendekatan saintifik, temuan terkait pelaksanaan pembelajaran berupa minimnya pertanyaan penelusuran dan minimnya pembelajaran kontekstual, subjek penelitian belum secara utuh menerapkan penilaian yang sesuai Kurikulum 2013, temuan terkait penilaian peserta didikberupa minimnya ketersediaan instrumen penilaian di kelas dan pengaturan alokasi waktu yang belum optimal; dan (3) hambatan implementasi Kurikulum 2013 oleh subjek penelitian disebabkan kurangnya pemahaman tentang pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan saintifik, pengaturan alokasi waktu, dan kesulitan dalam melakukan penilaian.


This study aims to obtained description of ability of mathematics teachers to implement the Curriculum 2013. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. The participant research were mathematics teachers of the 7th grade of Junior High School in Semarang.The research results show that: (1) knowledge of concept the Curriculum 2013 of the participant were inadequate, lack of knowledge about a philosophical foundation of the  Curriculum 2013 and  difficulties applied the scientific approach; (2) lesson plans that made the subjects were uncompletely described, the lesson plans include the manufacture of indicators and concepts of teaching materials unappropriate basic competency, the learning implementation by the majority subjects of research had uncompletely described the scientific approach, related to the learning implementation there were  lack of question  and lack of contextual learning, the subjects unfully implement appropriate assessment of Curriculum 2013, related the assessmentis we found that lack availability of assessment instruments in the classroom and the allocation of time was not optimal; and (3)  the implementation of the  Curriculum 2013 by the subjects caused by the lack of understanding about the scientific approach based learning, the allocation time, and difficulties using assessment.
