Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keanekaragaman Crustacea di ekosistem mangrove wilayah Tapak, Semarang. Metode purposive sampling digunakan untuk menentukan tujuh stasiun pengumpulan sampel. Sampel diambil sebanyak 3 kali pengulangan dengan selang waktu 2 minggu. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan indeks keanekaragaman, indeks kemerataan, dan indeks dominansi. Hasil penelitian menemukan 10 spesies Crustacea yaitu Metopograpsus thukuhar, Episesarma versicolor, Varuna yui, Panaeus mergulensis, Scylla serrata, Portunus pelagicus, Thalamita creanata, Uca sp., Uca bellator, Harpiosquills sp. Indeks keanekaragaman (H’) berkisar antara 0-1,57. Indeks H’ tertinggi berada pada  stasiun VI (1,57) disusul oleh stasiun III (1,49), stasiun V  (1,32) dan stasiun IV (1,18). Empat stasiun ini memiliki tingkat keanekaragaman dengan kriteria sedang. Stasiun I dan II memiliki H’ 0,95 dan 0,93 tergolong kriteria rendah. Stasiun VII H’-0 karena hanya ditemukan satu spesies. Indeks kemerataan berkisar antara 0 (terendah di stasiun VII) dan 0,81 (tertinggi di stasiun VI). Keanekaragaman Crustacea sangat dipengaruhi oleh parameter salinitas, pH, suhu, substrat, dan O2. Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat keanekaragaman Crustacea di ekosistem mangrove Tapak tergolong kriteria rendah sampai sedang.


 


The aims of this study is to determine the diversity of Crustaceans in the mangrove ecosystem Tapak Semarang region. The purposive sampling was used to select seven stations to collect the samples. The samples were taken three times repetition with two weeks interval. Data obtained then analyzed for the diversity index, evenness index, and dominance index. Result find that there were 10 species of Crustaceans that are Metopograpsus thukuhar, Episesarma versicolor, Varuna yui, Panaeus mergulensis, Scylla serrata, Portunus pelagicus, Thalamita creanata, Uca sp., Uca bellator, Harpiosquills sp. The diversity index (H’) ranges from 0-1.57. The highest index H’ was at station VI (1.57) followed by station III (1.49), station V (1.32) and station IV (1.18). These four stations have diversity levels with moderate criteria. The stations I and II have H’ 0.95 and 0.93 are low criteria. Station VII H’-0 because only one species was found. The similarity index ranged from 0 (lowest at station VII) and 0,81 (highest at station VI). Diversity of Crustaceans is strongly influenced by salinity, pH, temperature, substrate and O2 parameters. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the level of Crustaceans diversity in the mangrove ecosystem Tapak classified from low to moderate criteria.
