Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji perbedaan hasil belajar matematika dan motivasi belajar siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif handep dan tipe STAD. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas tujuh VII SMPN-1 Palangkaraya. Hipotesis penelitian diuji dengan uji-t dan uji U Mann-Whitney pada taraf kepercayaan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (a) hasil belajar matematika siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif handep lebih tinggi dari STAD, dan (b) tidak ada perbedaan motivasi belajar pada siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif handep dan STAD.

This study purpose examined the differences in mathematics learning outcomes and students' motivation to learn the cooperative learning model handep and STAD. The samples is seventh grade students of SMPN-1 Palangkaraya. The research hypotheses were tested by t-test and Mann-Whitney test. The research results are (a) the learning outcomes of students who are learning mathematics with cooperative learning model handep higher than STAD, and (b) there was no difference in the students' motivation to learn in cooperative learning model handep higher than STAD.
