Abstract

This research aims to examine the juridical analysis and implementation of legal protection for Fixed Term Employment Contract (PKWT) workers in Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning the Stipulation of Government regulations in lieu of Law Number 2 of 2022 becoming Law. The background of this research is the Protection of Fixed Term Employment Contract (PKWT), the implementation of which is not in accordance with applicable regulations so that workers' rights cannot be properly protected. The research method used in this research is an Empirical research method, namely legal research carried out through real studies, focusing on looking at the implementation that occurs in society from library materials, namely legal materials, regulations or related laws which are intended to describe the implementation or application of the protection of workers of the Fixed Term Employment Contract (PKWT) in the regulations of Law Number 6 of 2023. Based on the analysis of facts and data, the author concludes that in the juridical analysis and implementation of legal protection for Fixed Term Employment Contract (PKWT) workers in Law Number 6 of 2023: (1) Clear legal consequences and sanctions are needed for the implementation of regulations in society (2) That the role of related institutions needs to be maximized again to protect the rights of PKWT workers as a whole.
