The journal supports the dissemination of legal knowledge to academics, researchers, legal practitioners, students, policymakers, media professionals, and the wider public.

IMREV recognizes that unrestricted access to scholarly publications contributes to the development of legal scholarship, encourages informed public discussion, and facilitates the exchange of knowledge concerning media law, freedom of expression, digital communication, information technology, and related legal issues. Accordingly, the journal adopts an open access policy to make its published research available to readers without subscription fees or individual access charges.
