Vol. 13 No. 2 (2025): November 2025
EDITORIAL
We are pleased to present Volume 13, Issue 2 of the Indonesian Journal of Curriculum and Educational Technology Studies (IJCETS). This issue brings together a diverse collection of research that reflects current developments in curriculum design, educational technology integration, and language education across various educational contexts.
The first article, “Industry Alignment in Japanese Language Vocational Training in Indonesia,” examines how vocational language programmes respond to workforce requirements in international labour markets. Continuing the theme of relevance and contextualised curriculum, “Designing a Paulinity-Based Character Education Curriculum Aligned with Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum” offers insight into how value-based education can be systematically embedded within national curriculum reforms.
Innovation and digital transformation are central to this volume. “Integrated TPACK–CRT Learning Design for Elementary Schools” presents a framework combining technological, pedagogical, and cultural responsiveness, while “AI-Based Learning Transformation in Secondary Schools” maps global research directions in the use of artificial intelligence for learning improvement. Completing the set of published articles, “Improving English Oral Communication through Multimodal Learning Strategies” demonstrates how multimodal approaches support meaningful language development in secondary education. At the time of release, this issue is still awaiting one final manuscript, which will be added once the review and production process is complete.
Together, these contributions advance meaningful discussions on curriculum reform, digital pedagogy, and responsive education systems. We extend our gratitude to authors, reviewers, and the editorial team for their commitment to scholarly excellence.
