Plagiarism Prevention Policy
Management Analysis Journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. Plagiarism in any form is considered a serious violation of publication ethics and is strictly prohibited. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original works and must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts properly acknowledge and cite all sources of information, data, ideas, text, tables, and figures taken from other works.
The journal defines plagiarism to include, but not be limited to, direct plagiarism, self-plagiarism, mosaic plagiarism, paraphrasing without proper attribution, and the unauthorized reuse of text, data, or images. Self-plagiarism, including the excessive reuse of an author’s own previously published work without appropriate citation or justification, is also unacceptable.
To prevent plagiarism, all submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection (similarity-checking) software during the initial editorial evaluation. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% or containing significant unattributed overlap will be returned to the authors for clarification, revision, or may be rejected outright, depending on the severity and nature of the overlap.
Authors are strongly encouraged to conduct similarity checks using plagiarism detection tools prior to submission. The editorial team evaluates similarity reports carefully and distinguishes between acceptable overlap (such as references, methodological descriptions, or commonly used terms) and unethical plagiarism.
If plagiarism is identified at any stage of the editorial or publication process—before or after publication—the journal will take appropriate action in accordance with established publication ethics guidelines. Such actions may include manuscript rejection, request for revision, publication of corrections, retraction of the article, and notification of the authors’ affiliated institutions.
Management Analysis Journal adheres to internationally recognized ethical standards and guidelines in handling plagiarism cases and is committed to maintaining the credibility and integrity of the scholarly record.
