HARGA DIRI PENSIUNAN PEGAWAI NEGERI SIPIL DI KABUPATEN KENDAL

Abstract

Abstrak. Memasuki masa pensiun, individu akan kehilangan peran sosialnya dalam masyarakat, prestise, kekuasaan, kontak sosial bahkan berpengaruh terhadap harga diri. Bagi beberapa individu, melemahnya harga diri merupakan hal-hal yang dirasakan individu pada masa pensiun. Peneliti mengangkat tema harga diri pensiunan Pegawai Negeri Sipil dikarenakan adanya asumsi awal bahwa Pegawai Negeri Sipil yang baru saja pensiun secara internal maupun eksternal masih mengalami masa peralihan terhadap perubahan status yang dihadapi sehingga berpengaruh terhadap gambaran harga diri tersebut.

            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang harga diri pensiunan Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Kabupaten Kendal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah harga diri pensiunan Pegawai Negeri Sipil. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pensiunan Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Kabupaten Kendal yang berjumlah 216 orang. Sampel penelitian ditentukan menggunakan Proportional Stratified Random Sampling (sampel acak yang berstrata) yang ditentukan secara random dengan mengambil 25% pada tiap strata yang berjumlah 55 subjek. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan Self Esteem Inventory for Adult (SEI-A) yang dibuat oleh Coopersmith yang terdiri dari 25 butir. Validitas alat ukur ini mencakup antara 0,71 sampai 0,80. Koefisien reliabilitas melalui pendekatan tes ulang adalah 0.80 dan 0.82. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif.

Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan hal-hal sebagai berikut : 1) Rata-rata harga diri pensiunan Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Kabupaten Kendal tergolong kategori “tinggi”. Secara berturut-turut hasil penelitian paling tinggi yaitu pada aspek home-family, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan keluarga dan lingkungan paling mempengaruhi tingginya harga diri responden, ke dua adalah aspek social self, ke tiga adalah work-academy dan yang terakhir adalah aspek general self memberi kontribusi bagi harga diri pensiunan.

Abstract. Retirement, individuals will lose its social role in society, prestige, power, social contacts and even influence the self esteem. For some individuals, weak self esteem are things that people felt at the time of retirement. Researchers with the theme of self esteem retired civil servants, due to the initial assumption that the civil servant who recently retired internally and externally are still experiencing the transition to the changes facing the state and therefore contributes to the picture self worth retirees.

This study aims to gain an overview of self esteem retired Civil Servants in Kendal District.

This research uses descriptive quantitative approach. Variables in this study were Self retired civil servant. The population in this study is a retired civil servant in Kendal District, amounting to 216 people. The samples were determined using

Proportional stratified Random Sampling (a stratified random sample) is determined at random by taking 25% in each strata, amounting to 55 subjects. Collecting data in this study is the Self Esteem Inventory for Adult (SEI-A) made by Coopersmith consisting of 25 items. The validity of this measure include between 0-7l to 0.80. the coefficient of reability through re-test approach is 0.80 and 0.82. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics.

Based on the analysis and discussion, we can conclude the following things: 1) Average self esteem retired Civil Servants in Kendal District classified as category ‘high”. Respectively the highest results in the aspect home-family, this suggests that the support of family and environment affect the high esteem most respondents, the second  is the social aspect of self, all three are work-academy and the latter is the general self aspect self esteem contributes to retires.
