Abstract

The use of HEXACO-60 as a personality test that is used to measure a person's personality is still not quite familiar in Indonesia. As part of the development of measuring instruments that are indispensable for practitioners in the field, a psychometric test is needed that can show that the tool is valid enough to use. The HEXACO-60 has the same objective as using the MBTI personality test, which is to objectively measure personality. Therefore, this study will look at the relationship between the dimensions on the HEXACO-60 and the MBTI as a measure of concurrent validity. The research method used is quantitative research with a total sample of 1,016 participants consisting of students and workers from various backgrounds. The data analysis technique used was the Pearson correlation coefficient and the Mann-Whitney U test. The results obtained showed that there was a relationship between the HEXACO-60 dimension and the corresponding MBTI dimension, with the highest positive relationship (correlation more than 0.5) found in the extraversion and extrovert dimensions
