Saat Prestasi Menipu Diri: Peran Harga Diri dan Ketangguhan Akademik terhadap Impostor Phenomenon

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara self-esteem dan academic hardiness terhadap impostor phenomenon mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif korelasional, Penelitian melibatkan  291 orang subjek. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan data penelitian menggukana tiga skala yaitu Clance Impostor Phenomenon Scale (CIPS), Copersmith Self-esteem Inventory (CSEI), dan Academic Hardiness Scale (AHS). Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif self-esteem dan academic hardiness terhadap impostor phenomenon. Secara simultan self-esteem dan academic hardiness memberikan pengaruh 32.7% terhadap terjadi impostor phenomenon di kalangan mahasiswa.

This study aims to determine the effect of sel-esteem and academic hardiness on student impostor phenomena. The method used in this study is a correlational  quantitative method. The research involved 291 subject — data collection techniques using purposive sampling techniques. Retrieval of research data uses three scales, namely Clance Impostor Phenomenon Scale (CIPS), Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (CSEI), and Academic Hardiness Scale (AHS). This study used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that self-esteem and academic hardiness have positive significant effect on the impostor phenomenon. Self-esteem and academic hardiness contributed 32.7% to the students impostor phenomenon.
