IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies)

IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) has been Nationally Accredited based on the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education (SINTA 2) Based on a decree from the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency number 0041/E5 .3/HM.01.00/2023. IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) [p-ISSN 2548-1568 | e-ISSN 2548-1576] publishes a scientific paper on the results of the study and review of literature concerning to criminal law studies in a general context, including procedural criminal law, penal policy, criminology, victimology, criminal justice system, international criminal law, juvenile criminal law, penal reform, comparative criminal law, security law, and other related issues on criminal law and its development both in Indonesian and Global context. As a form of commitment to the development of criminal law science, The Journal consistently presents the best articles from various countries and can be accessed easily through the open access journal system on our official journal page. The IJCLS have been officially indexed by several indexing institutions both national and international, such as Google ScholarPortal GARUDA, and Journal TOCs.

Focus and Scope

IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) is one of the scientific journals in the field of criminal law published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Negeri Semarang. IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) was first published in November 2016 to coincide with the 9th anniversary of the Faculty of Law UNNES, and since its first publication, it has had ISSN both printed and online (ISSN Print 2548-1568 ISSN Online 2548-1576). In 2017, IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) continues to improve and make improvements both in terms of management systems and writing quality. The first time, IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) was published in Indonesian, and since the second issue, in May 2017, IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) has been published in English as a forward vision towards a reputable international journal. At present, IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) has established various collaborations, including the Association of Indonesian Law Journal Managers, Indonesian Criminal Law and Criminology Society, and various other associations. In 2018, IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) in collaboration with the Faculty of Law held various activities in the form of seminars and criminal law conferences. Until now, IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) has been indexed by several national and international indexing institutions.

IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) is intended to be a scientific law research journal, that publishes articles concerning legal issues, especially on criminal law, but also not limited to:

  3. Criminal Law Studies
  4. Criminal Law Procedure
  5. Criminology
  6. Victimology
  7. Juvenile Criminal Law
  8. International Criminal Law

Paperless Policy

 

Regarding the paperless policy at our institution, since 2020, we do not provide printed journals and or any documents in print. All documents will be provided online. If the author wants the printed version of the journal and the certificate of authorship, please contact our editor (charged will be applied). IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) is committed to providing the best articles related to the field of law and or related studies that contribute both nationally and internationally. IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) provides an opportunity for anyone, whether students, lecturers, researchers, or legal practitioners to send their best manuscript to the Journal. IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) accepts manuscripts throughout the year, and there is no time limit for receipt of manuscripts except for certain topics. IJCLS (Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies) also welcome opportunities for cooperation in publishing the results of Seminars and Conferences in Special or Regular Issues, for further information please contact the editor by email at: [email protected]
