Journal History

The Journal of Private and Commercial Law has been in publication since 2017 under the auspices of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Negeri Semarang. Initially headquartered on the 1st Floor of the K3 Building, Sekaran Campus, Gunungpati, Semarang City, Central Java, Indonesia 501229, it has consistently maintained its identity as the Journal of Private and Commercial Law. In accordance with the Faculty's policies in 2017, the Journal of Private and Commercial Law obtained registration with the ISSN 2599-0314 for its printed version and ISSN 2599-0306 for its online counterpart. Over the years, the journal has made continuous efforts to enhance its content and overall management, striving for excellence in every aspect. The Journal of Private and Commercial Law has also expanded its reach and visibility by undergoing review processes for indexing in prominent databases like EBSCO and ProQuest. These initiatives demonstrate the journal's commitment to ensuring its articles reach a wider audience and contribute significantly to the academic community. Through consistent improvements and a dedication to academic rigor, the Journal of Private and Commercial Law remains a reputable and valued source for legal research and scholarship in the field of private and commercial law.
