Gita graduated as a medical doctor from Faculty of Medicine University of Brawijaya in 2006, acquired MMedEd title from University of Indonesia in 2010 and going to doctoral candidate in the same field in University of Indonesia in 2021. She is now the head of Medical Education Unit in Faculty of Medicine University of Muhammadiyah Malang and also responsible for the interprofessional module in University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Her research interests are public health and medical education.
