Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan 10 pengemudi ojek online diketahui semuanya hampir dan atau pernah mengalami kecelakaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  untuk mengetahui faktor risiko terjadinya kecelakaan pada pengemudi ojek online mitra PT.X di Kota Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode observasional analitik menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Informan penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner terstruktur. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah chi-square. Apabila tidak memenuhi syarat maka akan digunakan uji fisher. Hasil menunjukan terdapat hubungan antara jenis kelamin,tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman berkendara, masa kerja, tingkat pengetahuan, status kesehatan, kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana berkendara, kondisi kendaraan, faktor cuaca, dan keikutsertaan pelatihan safety riding terhadap kejadian kecelakaan. Serta tidak ada hubungan antara usia, sikap, geometrik jalan, dan kondisi permukaan jalan terhadap kejadian kecelakaan. Saran bagi pengemudi ojek online yaitu lebih memperhatikan waktu kerja dan untuk PT.X melakukan pengawasan terhadap kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja para mitranya dengan menonaktifkan akun apabila sudah bekerja selama 8 jam atau telah memenuhi target tertentu.


ABSTRACT


Technology development in transportation nowadays made several companies use this opportunity to develop online-based transportation applications. Based on the interview with 10 online motorbike taxi drivers, it was found that almost all of them had experienced an accident. The aim of this study was to discover the risk factors of accident among online motorbike taxi drivers at PT. X in Semarang City. This was a descriptive quantitative study with observational analytic method and cross sectional approach. The informants were chosen by purposive sampling. The instrument used structured questionnaire. The statistics analysis used in this study was chi-square or fisher if it did not meet the requirements. The result showed that there were some correlations between gender, level of education, driving experience, period of employment, level of knowledge, health status, completeness of driving facilities, vehicle conditions, weather, and the participation of safety riding training to the accidents. There were no correlation between age, attitude, geometric road, and road surface to the accidents. This study recommended the online motorbike drivers to consider the working hours and for PT. X to do a monitoring and supervision about drivers’ safety and health at work by deactivating drivers accounts if they have worked for 8 hours or met the targets.
