Penerapan Inkuiri Terbimbing Berstrategi “REACT” Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kimia

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berstrategi “REACT†terhadap hasil belajar kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi afektif dan psikomotorik, angket tanggapan siswa, dan soal pre test-post test. Desain penelitian control group pre test-post test design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 – XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 3 Semarang tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Pengambilan sampel secara cluster random sampling. Hasil analisis akhir didapat pencapaian standar kelulusan kompetensi kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol. Uji korelasi diperoleh koefisien korelasi biserial (rb) sebesar 0,52 dan thitung 3,7 lebih dari  2,01 dengan taraf signifikansi 5% dan derajat kebebasan 64. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh koefisien determinasi sebesar 27%. Rata-rata nilai afektif dan psikomotorik kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berstrategi “REACT†berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan kelas XI IPA SMA N 3 Semarang.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning model  with “REACT†strategelly to learning result of solubility and solubility product. Instrument in this study is the observation sheet for affective and psychomotor aspects, students' questionnaire, and pre test-post test. For cognitive aspect research used control group pretest-posttest design. Population in this study were students of class XI IPA 1 - XI IPA 4 SMAN 3 Semarang school year 2012/2013. From the final analysis it can be concluded that achieving a passing grade experimental class competency better than the control class. Correlation biserial correlation coefficient of 0.52 and tcount 3.7 bigger than 2.01 with a significance level of 5% . From calculation, the coefficient of determination of 27 %. The average value of affective and psychomotor experimental classes are better than the control class. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the examined learning model guided inquiry with “REACT†strategelly gave effect on the improving learning result of solubility and solubility product class XI student of SMA N 3 Semarang.
