ELT Forum: Journal of English Language Teaching (p-ISSN 2252-6706/ e-ISSN 2721-4532) is published by English Department, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Semarang, Indonesia. The Journal cheers submissions that put in theory and method from all parts of linguistics to the learning of education. Matters of linguistic study contain: text/corpus linguistics, sociolinguistics, functional grammar, discourse analysis, critical discourse analysis, conversational analysis, linguistic anthropology/ethnography, language acquisition, language socialization, narrative studies, gesture/ sign /visual forms of communication, cognitive linguistics, literacy studies, language policy, and language ideology.
Focus and Scope
The aim of this Journal is to promote a principled approach to research on language and language-related concerns by encouraging enquiry into relationship between theoretical and practical studies. The journal welcomes contributions in such areas of current analysis in:
- first, second, and foreign language teaching and learning;
- language in education;
- language planning, language testing;
- curriculum design and development;
- multilingualism and multilingual education;
- discourse analysis;
- clinical linguistics;
- literature and teaching; and.
- forensic linguistics.
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to this journal must follow focus and scope, and author guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must address scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal by using a Turnitin software.
The research article submitted to this journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) or more expert reviewers. The reviewers give scientific valuable comments improving the contents of the manuscript.
Final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to reviewers comments. Publication of accepted articles including the sequence of published articles will be made by Editor in Chief by considering sequence of accepted date and geographical distribution of authors as well as thematic issue.
ELT Forum: Journal of English Language Teaching is published twice a year; in July and November with ten articles for each edition. It is also published in two versions; print out and electronic.
