KEEFEKTIFAN MODEL VISUALIZATION, AUDITORY, KINESTETIC (VAK) DAN MODEL SNOWBALL THROWING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENGONSTRUKSI CERPEN PADA SISWA KELAS XI SMK

Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui keefektifan model visualization, auditory, kinestetic (VAK) dalam pembelajaran mengonstruksi cerpen pada siswa kelas XI SMK, (2) mengetahui keefektifan model snowball throwing dalam pembelajaran mengonstruksi cerpen pada siswa kelas XI SMK, (3) mengetahui model yang lebih efektif antara model visualization, auditory, kinestetic (VAK) dan model snowball throwing untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran mengonstruksi cerpen pada siswa kelas XI SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design (eksperimen semu) dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara luring dan daring pada siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 5 Semarang dengan sampel kelas XI TKJ 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 yang mendapatkan perlakuan model visualization, auditory, kinestetic (VAK) dan kelas XI TP 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 yang mendapatkan perlakuan model snowball throwing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) model visualization, auditory, kinestetic (VAK) efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran mengonstruksi cerpen pada siswa kelas XI SMK, (2) model snowball throwing efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran mengonstruksi cerpen pada siswa kelas XI SMK, (3) model visualization, auditory, kinestetic (VAK) lebih efektif dibandingkan model snowball throwing dalam pembelajaran mengonstruksi cerpen pada siswa kelas XI SMK dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,001. Nilai 0,001 < 0,05, Ho ditolak Ha diterima. Rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen 1 lebih besar dibandingkan dengan posttest kelas eksperimen 2, yaitu 82,32 > 78,11.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study are (1) to determine the effectiveness of the visualization, auditory, kinesthetic (VAK) model in learning to construct short stories in XI grade students of SMK, (2) to determine the effectiveness of the snowball throwing model in learning to construct short stories in XI grade students of SMK, (3) to know a more effective model between the visualization, auditory, kinesthetic (VAK) model and the snowball throwing model to be applied in learning to construct short stories in class XI SMK students. This study uses an experimental research method. This type of research is quantitative and qualitative. The research design used was a quasi experimental design (quasi-experimental) with a nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted offline and online in class XI SMK Negeri 5 Semarang with a sample of class XI TKJ 1 as experimental class 1 who received treatment of visualization, auditory, kinesthetic (VAK) models and class XI TP 1 as experimental class 2 which received model treatment snowball throwing. The results showed (1) the visualization, auditory, kinesthetic (VAK) model was effectively used in learning to construct short stories in class XI SMK students, (2) the snowball throwing model was effectively used in learning to construct short stories in class XI SMK students, (3) visualization model , auditory, kinesthetic (VAK) is more effective than the snowball throwing model in learning to construct short stories in class XI SMK students with a Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.001. Value 0.001 <0.05, Ho rejected Ha accepted. The average posttest score of the experimental class 1 was greater than the posttest experimental class 2, namely 82.32> 78.11.
