HUBUNGAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DENGAN KERJASAMA TIM DALAM PERMAINAN BOLA BASKET PADA SEHATI BASKETBALL SCHOOL SEMARANG

Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian adalah: 1) apakah ada hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan kerjasama tim?, 2) berapa besar hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan kerjasama tim?. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan kerjasama tim., 2) Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan kerjasama tim. Penelitian mengkaji hubungan variabel bebas kecerdasan emosional dengan variabel terikat hasil kerjasama tim.Populasi adalah seluruh anak didik pada Sehati Basketball School Semarang Tahun 2013 sebanyak 28. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan angket dan kuesioner kecerdasan emosional dan kerjasama tim.Analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi chi-square. Hasil analisis data memiliki nilai Value 0,799 mendekati 1 dan signifikansi 0,000, hal ini menunjukan adanya hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kerjasama tim. Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu ada hubungan kecerdasan emosioanal dengan kerjasama tim pada sehati basketball school Semarang memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yaitu terdapat hubungan yang kuat. Saran terkait simpulan tersebut yaitu bagi pelatih, hendaknya memberikan program latihan tidak hanya untuk meningkatkan teknik dan skill saja, akan tetapi memberikan program latihan yang mampu meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional.

The research problems are: 1) Is there any correlation between emotional quotient and team cooperation?, 2) How much is the correlation between emotional quotient and team cooperation?. This research is aimed to: 1) To find out the correlation between emotional quotient and team cooperation, 2) to find out how much the correlation between emotional quotient and team cooperation is. Moreover, the research is to analyze the correlation between independent variable, in which in this case is emotional quotient and the result of team cooperation as the dependent variable. In addition to this, population as the subject of the research is 28 students of Sehati Basketball School Semarang, in the academic year o 2013. The technique of sampling used is total sampling. Furthermore, the researcher used questionnaire of emotional quotient and team cooperation to collect the data. Then, the data gathered is analyzed by using chi-square correlation technique. The result of the data analysis revealed that the Value is 0.958 close to 1 and its significant is 0.247 close to 0, it shows that there is correlation between emotional quotient and team cooperation. Above all, based on this research, it can be conclude that there is correlation between emotional quotient and team cooperation at Sehati basketball school Semarang in which it has significant value of 0,247. Referring the data, the researcher would like to offer some suggestions for the coach. The coach is supposed to provide an exercising program not only to improve the students’ technique and skill, but also an exercising program to improve the students’ emotional quotient
