PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD BERORIENTASI KETERAMPILAN PROSES

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan peningkatan pemahaman dan aktivitas siswa akibat penerapan model kooperatif tipe
STAD berorientasi keterampilan proses dalam pembelajaran, serta mengetahui kelebihan, kekurangan dan kendala model
pembelajaran tersebut dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan aktivitas siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian eksperimen.
Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 7 Semarang. Perbedaan peningkatan pemahaman dan aktivitas siswa
dianalisis dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan menggunakan STAD berorientasi keterampilan proses dapat
meningkatkan pemahaman dan aktivitas siswa, hal ini ditunjukkan adanya peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal, skor rata-rata post tes
dan aktivitas. Disarankan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berorientasi keterampilan proses dijadikan model
pembelajaran alternatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan aktivitas siswa dalam mata pelajaran fisika.

 

This article concerns with study result about the effect of cooperative learning STAD type process skill oriented on students
comprehension and activities in SMA Negeri 7 Semarang, Class XI science. The aim of the study is to know the improvement in
students comprehension and activity when cooperative model STAD type process skill oriented is applied in learning and to know
the benefits, flaws, and problems of the learning model in improving students understanding and activity. The study is an
experimental study. Improvement of student comprehension and activities were analyzed with t test. The results showed that by
using STAD process skill oriented can improve students understanding and activities, this is shown by increase of classical
mastery, average score in posttest, and activities. Cooperative learning model STAD type process skill oriented is suggested to be
an alternative learning model to improve students comprehension and activities in physic subject.
