PERAN GURU IPS DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK PADA PEMBELAJARAN JARAK JAUH DI SMP NEGERI 32 SEMARANG
Abstract
Surat edaran kemendikbud No 4 Tahun 2020, mengenai Pelaksanaan Kebijakan Pendidikan dalam Masa Darurat Penyebaran Covid-19, merupakan penegahan pemerintah dari pandemi covid-19 yang terus meluas, dengan diberlakukannya surat edaran kemendikbud merubahan sistem pembelajaran yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara luring berubah menjadi daring atau jarak jauh. Perubahan tersebut menjadi tantangan guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Kurikulum 2013 menekankan pengembangan kemampuan peserta didik salah satunya kemampuan berpikir kritis, melalui beberapa strategi salah satunya pendekatan saintifik. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif. Penerapan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh, terdiri dari perencanaan melalui pengintegrasian komponen pendekatan saintifik dalam perangkat pembelajaran, pelaksanaan melalui pemberian stimulus kepada peserta didik untuk berpikir kritis dan evaluasi melalui Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS).

The method in this research is qualitative. The results of the study indicate the teacher's role in developing critical thinking skills through literacy and learning media in the form of Student Worksheets (LKS). The application of the scientific approach in distance learning consists of planning through integrating components of the scientific approach in learning tools, implementation through providing stimulus to students to think critically and evaluation through Student Worksheets (LKS).
