Karakteristik Sumur Gali dengan Keberadaan Jentik Nyamuk Aedes aegypti

Abstract

Keberadaan jentik nyamuk Aedes aegypti di Tempat Penampungan Air (TPA) dapat dipengaruhi beberapa faktor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik sumur gali yang berpotensi menjadi tempat perkembangbiakan nyamuk Aedes aegypti di Kelurahan Bendan Ngisor Kecamatan Gajahmungkur Kota Semarang tahun 2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah sumur gali yang berada di RW 01 Kelurahan Bendan Ngisor yang berjumlah 123 sumur gali dan diperoleh 86 sampel. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara letak sumur gali (p=0,020), keberadaan penutup sumur gali (p=0,021), tinggi air permukaan (p=0,036), bahan dinding sumur gali (p=0,033), pH sumur gali (p=0,017), pencahayaan (p=0,037) dengan keberadaan jentik nyamuk Aedes aegypti, dan tidak ada hubungan antara kedalaman (p=0,349), penggunaan (p=0,271), kejernihan air (p=0,573), keberadaan tanaman (p=1,000) dengan keberadaan jentik nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Saran, meningkatkan sanitasi sumur gali untuk mencegah nyamuk dapat berkembang biak.

The larvae exitence in a place of collecting and saving water were influenced by some factors. The purpose of this study determined the characteristics of dug wells that could potentially become a breeding Aedes aegypti mosquito in Bendan Ngisor Village Gajahmungkur Subdistrict Semarang City, 2015. This type of research was explanatory research which using cross sectional approach. The population of this research were dug wells around the RW 01 Bendan Ngisor Village amount 123 dug wells and 86 samples. Simple Random Sampling was used to collecting the samples. The results showed that there were significant value for the variables location (p=0,020), the presence of surface cover (p=0,021), the presence of high water (p=0,036), material wall (p=0,033), pH (p=0,017), lighting (p=0,037) which there were a relationship with the presence of Aedes aegypti larvae. While for the variables depth (p=0,349), use (p=0,271), water purity (p=0,573), the plants (p=1,000) did not affect the presence of Aedes aegypti larvae in dug wells. Suggestions, improving dug wells sanitasion to prevent larvae growth.
