Dear readers, in this very hard moment amidst the Covid-19 outbreak IJCETS publishes volume 8 number 1 in April 2020. In this period there are six articles and one book review come from Philippine, Nigeria, and Indonesia. There are several interesting topics in this volume, ranging from the readiness of the implementation of the new curricula to the potential uses of learning video for student with special need in special education program. There is also book review concern on the work of Priestly and Biesta by one of our editors’ member. We hope many potential authors will contribute to submit the book review to broaden the audience’s perspective on the recent trend and issues on curriculum studies or educational technology as a field of studies. Indonesian Journal of Curriculum and Educational Technology Studies (IJCETS) published by Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) in collaboration with Ikatan Pengembang Teknologi Pendidikan Indonesia (IPTPI, Indonesian Educational Technology Developers Association), Himpunan Pengembang Kurikulum Indonesia (Hipkin, Indonesian Curriculum Developers Association) and Asosiasi Program Studi Teknologi Pendidikan Indonesia (APS-TPI, Indonesian Educational Technology Study Programs Association). IJCETS receives manuscript (empirical and conceptual analysis) and book reviews related to curriculum studies and educational technology. The journal is published 2 (two) times a year, in April and November. IJCETS has been indexed by Google Scholar, DOAJ, EBSCO, Garuda, Sinta, Journal TOCs and many others.
