Dear readers, in this very hard moment amidst the Covid-19 outbreak IJCETS publishes volume 8 number 1 in April 2020. In this period there are six articles and one book review come from Philippine, Nigeria, and Indonesia. There are several interesting topics in this volume, ranging from the readiness of the implementation of the new curricula to the potential uses of learning video for student with special need in special education program. There is also book review concern on the work of Priestly and Biesta by one of our editors’ member.
