PENGARUH STRATEGI PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBASIS ICT TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP DAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH FISIKA

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji perbedaan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan strategi PBL berbasis ICT dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi PBL. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen semu dengan pretest postest control group design. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Bangil tahun pelajaran 2012-2013. Sampel 72 siswa yang terbagi dalam dua kelas yang diambil dengan teknik Sampling Random Purposive. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah butir soal pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah berbentuk tes uraian. Tes pemahaman konsep adalah untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep fisika dengan indikator pengetahuan Taksonomi Bloom yang direvisi oleh Anderson dan Krathwohl, meliputi kemampuan mengingat (C1), memahami (C2), menerapkan (C3), menganalisis (C4), serta mengevaluasi (C5). Tes Kemampuan pemecahan masalah adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika dengan langkah-langkah yang sistematis, meliputi analisis masalah, perencanaan pemecahan masalah, aplikasi alternatif pemecahan masalah, serta melakukan refleksi keberhasilan hasil pemecahan masalah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes. Analisis data menggunakan MANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep yang signifikan antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan strategi PBL berbasis ICT Â dan strategi PBL; (2) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang signifikan antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan strategi PBL berbasis ICT Â dan strategi PBL.

This research aimed to examine the difference between the students’ understanding of concepts and problem solving ability taught by using ICT-based PBL strategy and PBL strategy. The research used a quasi experimental with pretest posttest control group design. The population were the tenth grade students of Bangil Senior High School years 2012-2013. The subject of the study involved were 72 students devided two groups with sampling random purposive techniques. Instrument of concept understanding and problem solving ability was essay questions. The test was to determine the understanding of the concept of understanding physics concepts with knowledge indicators were revised Bloom’s Taxonomy by Anderson and Krathwohl, including the ability to remember (C1), understanding (C2), applying (C3), analyzed (C4), and evaluate (C5). Problem solving ability test was used to determine the ability of solving physics problems with systematic steps, including problem analysis, planning, problem solving, application of alternative solutions, and the results reflectingthe success of problem-solving. Data was collected by test and analyzed using MANOVA. The results showed that: (1) there is significant difference between the students understanding of concepts taught by using ICT-based PBL strategy and PBL strategy; and (2) there is significant difference between the students problem-solving ability that studied using ICT-based PBL strategy and PBL strategy.
