PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN GROUP INVESTIGATION TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR BAGI PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VIII SMPN 01 PAGERUYUNG, KABUPATEN KENDAL

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan metode Group Investigation terhadap hasil belajar, Jenis penelitian ini adalah True Experimental Design dengan bentuk desain Control Group Design. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling yang terdiri dari kelas VIII A dan VIII B dengan melibatkan 64 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan metode Group Investigation diterapkan dengan membagi 7 kelompok untuk menyelesaikan subtema masing-masing, kemudian dipresentasikan untuk dievaluasi bersama; 2) Hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai  prettest sebesar 66,72 dan nilai posttest 86,88 dengan selisih mean dengan kenaikan hasil belajar 20,16; 3) Hasil analisis inferensial dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 25 diperoleh nilai sig (2 Tailed) < α atau (0,000 < 0,05) hal ini menunjukan bahwa metode pembelajaran Group Investigation sangat berpengaruh signifikan.

The purposes of this study were to analyze the effect of applying the Group Investigation method on learning outcomes. This type of research is True Experimental Design with the Control Group Design form. Samples were taken by random sampling technique consisting of class VIII A and VIII B involving 64 students. The results of the study show that 1) the implementation of learning using the Group Investigation method is implemented by dividing 7 groups to complete each sub-theme, then presenting it for joint evaluation; 2) The learning outcomes in the experimental class have a pretest score of 66.72 and a posttest score of 86.88 with a mean difference with an increase in learning outcomes of 20.16; 3) The results of inferential analysis using SPSS version 25 obtained sig (2 Tailed) <α or (0.000 <0.05) this shows that the Group Investigation learning method has a very significant effect.
