KEEFEKTIFAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBEX BERBANTUAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA TERHADAP PENCAPAIAN KOMPETENSI SISWA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran Probex (predict-observe-explain) berbantuan LKS terhadap pencapaian kompetensi siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri Ajibarang. Hasil analisis data awal menunjukkan data populasi berdistribusi normal dan homogen, sehingga teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Hasil analisis data akhir menunjukkan data kelas sampel tidak berdistribusi normal, sehingga uji hipotesis menggunakan statistika nonparametrik yaitu uji tanda. Pada uji tanda diperoleh h_hitung 7 dan h_tabel 9 yang berarti rata-rata nilai hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol. Hasil perhitungan ketuntasan belajar klasikal kelas eksperimen mencapai ketuntasan sebesar 80,56%. Pada analisis keterampilan, siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 78. Hasil analisis sikap siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol, ini berarti model pembelajaran Probex memunculkan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan memotivasi siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Probex berbantuan LKS efektif terhadap pencapaian kompetensi dasar siswa SMA Negeri Ajibarang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning models Probex (predict-observe-explain) LKS (worksheets) assisted to the achievement of student competence. The population of this study is the entire class of XI MIPA SMA Negeri Ajibarang. The result of preliminary data analysis showed that the population data were normal and homogeneous distributed, so the sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. The final data analysis results show that both samples are not normally distributed, so the next hypothesis test uses nonparametric statistics that is sign test. In sign test obtained 7 for the result and 9 the result of the table which means the average result of experimental class learning is better than the control class. The result of classical learning completeness of experimental class reaching completeness up to 80,56%. In the skill analysis, the experimental class is better than the control class with an average score of 78. The result of the attitude analysis of the experimental class students is better than the control class, this means that the Probex learning model generates a pleasant learning atmosphere and motivates the students to be more active in the lesson. Based on the result of the research, it is concluded that the learning model of Probex with LKS assistance is effective towards the achievement of the basic competence of the students of SMA Negeri Ajibarang.
