PEMANFAATAN MONUMEN PALAGAN AMBARAWA SEBAGAI SUM- BER BELAJAR SEJARAH
Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Islam Sudirman Ambarawa. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling dengan desain Pretes-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dan siswa kelas XI IPS 1 adalah kelas eksperimen. Dalam penelitian ini metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa metode angket dan metode dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dilihat ada perbedaan antara minat belajar sejarah kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Monumen Palagan Ambarawa sebagai sumber belajar dengan kelas kontrol yang tidak diberi perlakuan khusus. Model pembelajaran dengan melakukan kunjungan ke tempat-tempat bersejarah hendaknya diterapkan oleh guru se-bagai salah satu alternatif dalam pembelajaran sejarah sehingga siswa tidak merasa jenuh dan termotivasi untuk lebih giat belajar sejarah.
This research is quantitative experimental design . The population in this study were students of class XI SMA Sudirman Ambarawa Islam . The samples in this study using simple random sampling design with pretest - posttest control group design . Samples were students of class XI IPS 2 as the control class and the students of class XI IPS 1 is the experimental class . In this research, data collection methods used in the form of a questionnaire method and the method of documentation . Data analysis techniques used in this research is descriptive statistics . From the results of the study can be seen there is a difference between interest in learning the history of experimental class learning treated using Ambarawa Theater Monument as a learning resource with control classes were not given special treatment . Learning model with a visit to historic places should be implemented by teachers as an alternative to learning history so that students do not feel bored and motivated to study harder history .
