Electronic Filling

The Indonesian Journal of Agrarian Law is committed to ensuring that every published article is properly preserved and remains permanently accessible to readers, researchers, and the general public. This policy outlines how the journal stores and preserves published content, and how authors may archive their work in other repositories.

1. Journal Archiving and Digital Preservation
All articles published in The Indonesian Journal of Agrarian Law are stored electronically and preserved through the following layers of archiving:

  • Journal Website: All issues and articles, from the first volume to the latest edition, are available in full text on the journal’s Archive page. The journal is managed using Open Journal Systems (OJS), and the server is maintained by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Negeri Semarang.

  • LOCKSS System: The journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

  • Digital Object Identifier (DOI): Every article is assigned a DOI through Crossref (DOI prefix: 10.15294/jal). The DOI provides a permanent identifier and a stable link for the article, ensuring that it remains discoverable even if the website address changes.

  • Internal Backups: The journal’s server is backed up periodically so that articles, metadata, and editorial records can be restored in the event of technical problems.

2. Author Self-Archiving Policy
All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), and authors retain copyright in their work. Therefore, authors may deposit their articles in other repositories without requesting permission from the journal and without an embargo period.

Authors may archive their articles in various places, such as:

  • Institutional repositories of the author’s home institution.

  • National repositories, such as Garuda or the Universitas Negeri Semarang repository.

  • Subject-based repositories, such as SSRN.

  • Academic profiles, such as Google Scholar, SINTA, ORCID, ResearchGate, or Academia.edu.

  • Personal or institutional websites.

When archiving articles, authors are required to include the citation of the original publication in The Indonesian Journal of Agrarian Law (including volume, issue number, year, and page numbers), include the article’s DOI link, and state that the article is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.

3. Archival Records and Documentation
The journal maintains electronic records of the editorial and peer-review process, including submitted manuscripts, review reports, correspondence, and editorial decisions. These records support accountability and enable the journal to respond to questions or issues that may arise after publication. All such records are kept confidential and are not made publicly available.
