Submission, Registration, and Manuscript Template Compliance Policy
To uphold the integrity of academic publishing and to proactively prevent unethical practices such as ghost authorship, identity fraud, the involvement of paper mills, and the submission of manuscripts by unauthorized third parties, the Indonesian Journal of International Clinical Legal Education (ICCLE) implements a strict policy governing manuscript submission, user registration, and compliance with the official journal template. This policy forms an integral part of ICCLE’s commitment to publication ethics, transparency, and quality assurance in scholarly communication.
Effective immediately, ICCLE only accepts manuscript submissions from official institutional email addresses. Acceptable email domains include, but are not limited to, addresses issued by universities, government agencies, research institutions, or other formally recognized organizations (e.g., [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected]). Submissions made using personal or commercial email providers such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook, and similar services will be automatically rejected at the initial screening stage without being processed further. The email address used for submission and registration must correspond directly with the author’s stated institutional affiliation in the manuscript and in the Open Journal Systems (OJS) user profile.
In line with this policy, the Editorial Board conducts periodic audits of the OJS user database. Registered user accounts (including Authors and Reviewers) that utilize non-institutional email addresses may be subject to verification and, where necessary, permanent removal from the OJS system. Members of the ICCLE scholarly community are therefore required to update their OJS profiles using valid institutional email addresses to avoid loss of access or account deletion.
In addition to identity verification requirements, all manuscripts submitted to ICCLE must strictly adhere to the official journal manuscript template. Submissions that do not comply with the prescribed structure, formatting, and writing guidelines may be returned for technical revision or rejected before peer review. The official ICCLE manuscript template is available at: Template ICCLE.
Independent researchers without institutional affiliations are required to contact the Editorial Office through a formal inquiry to request a verification waiver before registration or manuscript submission.
