Official journal information and publication policies
The Indonesian Journal of International Clinical Legal Education (ICCLE) implements an electronic manuscript submission process to facilitate the efficient, transparent, and organized handling of scholarly manuscripts. The submission system supports communication between authors and the editorial team and enables manuscripts to be processed systematically throughout the editorial and publication workflow.
Authors are required to submit manuscripts through the journal's designated electronic submission system and follow the applicable Author Guidelines, submission requirements, and editorial procedures.
Authors must submit their manuscripts electronically through the submission platform provided by ICCLE. Manuscripts must be written in English and prepared in accordance with the journal's Author Guidelines and official manuscript template.
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that the submission is complete and that all information entered into the submission system is accurate. Required information includes the manuscript title, full names of all authors, institutional affiliations, email addresses, and other information requested by the journal.
Authors must prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the official manuscript template of The Indonesian Journal of International Clinical Legal Education (ICCLE). The template provides the required structure and formatting for submissions.
Official ICCLE Manuscript Template: Access the ICCLE Manuscript Template.
Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format with one of the following file extensions: .doc, .docx, or .rtf. Authors should ensure that their manuscripts comply with the formatting requirements specified in the official template and Author Guidelines.
Submitted manuscripts must represent original scholarly work and must not have been published previously or be under consideration by another journal at the same time. Authors are responsible for the originality of their work, the accuracy of citations, and the proper acknowledgment of all sources.
ICCLE requires submitted manuscripts to have a similarity score of no more than 20%. Authors must provide evidence of the similarity check as an additional document or supplementary file. Manuscripts exceeding the permitted similarity threshold may be returned for improvement or rejected in accordance with the journal's editorial assessment and publication ethics policies.
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
After submission, the editorial team conducts an initial assessment to determine whether the manuscript falls within the scope of ICCLE and meets the journal's basic submission requirements. Submissions that fall outside the journal's scope or fail to satisfy essential editorial or ethical requirements may be rejected at the initial screening stage.
Passing the initial screening does not guarantee acceptance. Manuscripts remain subject to editorial assessment, applicable peer-review procedures, revision requirements, and the final editorial decision.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening may be assigned to an editor for further assessment and, where appropriate, peer review in accordance with ICCLE's review policy. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts in response to editorial comments or reviewer recommendations.
When a response to reviewers is requested, authors should provide a clear, point-by-point explanation of how each comment has been addressed. All communications concerning manuscript evaluation, revisions, acceptance, or rejection should be handled through the journal's official communication channels.
The Indonesian Journal of International Clinical Legal Education (ICCLE) welcomes article submissions and does not charge Article Processing Charges (APC) or Article Publication Fees. Authors are not required to pay any fees for manuscript processing or publication.
Access to published articles is free of charge for libraries and individual readers, with no subscription required.
In accordance with the journal's paperless policy, ICCLE has not provided printed journals or printed documents since 2020. All journal content and related documents are provided online.
Authors are expected to ensure that the revised manuscript is accurate, complete, and ready for final editorial processing. Any proofreading arrangements or additional publication requirements will be communicated in accordance with the journal's applicable procedures.
Authors should use the official communication facilities provided by ICCLE to request assistance or clarification concerning submission requirements, manuscript status, revisions, or publication procedures. Inquiries should include the manuscript title and submission reference number, where available.
Information submitted through the journal's website, including names and email addresses, will be used for the stated purposes of ICCLE and legitimate journal operations. Submitted manuscripts and associated materials should be handled confidentially and accessed only by authorized individuals involved in the editorial and peer-review process.
If authors experience technical difficulties, encounter file-upload errors, or are unable to complete the electronic submission process, they should contact the ICCLE editorial office through the official contact information provided on the journal's website.
By submitting a manuscript to ICCLE, authors confirm that the information and documents supplied are accurate to the best of their knowledge, that all co-authors have approved the submission, and that the manuscript complies with the journal's applicable editorial, formatting, and ethical requirements.
The Indonesian Journal of International Clinical Legal Education (ICCLE) is committed to maintaining an orderly, transparent, and responsible manuscript submission process. Authors are encouraged to follow the journal's instructions carefully and cooperate with the editorial team to support the integrity and quality of scholarly publishing.
