1. Research Articles

Research Articles present original, rigorous, and well-supported research addressing issues in criminal law and related fields. Manuscripts should demonstrate a clear research problem, a sound theoretical or conceptual foundation, an appropriate research methodology, and a substantive analysis that contributes to the development of legal scholarship and criminal justice studies.

Topics may include:

  • Comparative criminal law and criminal justice systems.
  • Criminal law theory, legislation, and legal reform.
  • Criminal procedure and law enforcement.
  • Penal policy, sentencing, and correctional law.
  • Criminology, victimology, and juvenile criminal justice.
  • International criminal law, anti-corruption law, and money laundering.
  • Other relevant issues in criminal law and criminal justice.

2. Review Articles

Review Articles provide a critical, systematic, or integrative examination of existing scholarly literature, legal doctrines, legislation, or developments in criminal law and related disciplines. They should go beyond merely summarizing previous publications by identifying patterns, debates, research gaps, theoretical developments, or implications for future research and legal practice.

Review Articles should demonstrate a clear review objective, a transparent approach to selecting and analyzing relevant sources, and a coherent synthesis of the literature or legal materials examined.
