    The Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies (IJCLS) has provided detailed information regarding the estimated timeline for manuscript processing, from initial submission to final publication. Authors are encouraged to review this information to better understand each stage of the editorial and publication process.

  • Adjustment of Article Processing Charge (APC)

    Based on the Rector’s Decree of Universitas Negeri Semarang Number B/258/UN37/HK.02/2026, we would like to inform you of an adjustment to the publication fee of the Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies.

    The Article Processing Charge (APC) is set at IDR 4,000,000 (It should be noted that cross-border transactions may involve discrepancies in conversion values as a consequence of administrative fee charges). This provision applies starting from Volume 11 (2026).

    In addition to the publication fee, authors will be charged a proofreading service fee. The amount of the proofreading fee will be informed via email. Authors may alternatively use other proofreading services; however, they are strongly encouraged to use Enago as a substitute for the facility previously provided by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Negeri Semarang.

  • Important Notice: Institutional Email and Template Compliance

    To maintain academic integrity and prevent unethical publication practices, the Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law Studies (IJCLS) implements the following policies:

    1. Submission and Registration

    Submissions must use official institutional email addresses. Manuscripts sent via personal or commercial emails will be automatically rejected. Non-institutional OJS accounts will be removed.

    2. Manuscript Formatting

    Authors must also strictly comply with the official IJCLS manuscript template available at Template IJCLS; non-compliant submissions may be returned or rejected before peer review.

    3. International Collaboration

    Manuscripts must involve authors from at least two different countries with verifiable institutional affiliations. Non-compliant submissions will be desk rejected.

    4. Independent Researchers

    Independent researchers must request prior verification approval from the Editorial Office before submission.
